__Ian McKill began his racing career
in 1994. He says that in a very short time he realized the importance of proper
bike set-up, and the birth of "Riders Edge" followed.
Ian would then work with Paul Thede of Race Tech to learn the art of suspension and
he'd apply it to his testing and racing.
"I began competing in off road events, dominating the junior ranks
and quickly working my way into the more competitive classes. Over the years,
I have achieved many first place overall finishes at the highest level, battling
with some of the great racers of this era. Names like Glasgow, Graffunder, Perrett,
Walsh, Skinner, Hoyer, Allen......
I have dabbled in all aspects of off road competition including enduros, hare scrambles,
motocross, arenacross, derert racing, and supermoto.
The highlight of my racing career came in 2006 with the ODR title, a WEC in Ontario,
and the ISDE in New Zealand.
Its been a lifestyle. Mixing work and play. And now my son is getting
old enough to race."
